Hey everyone! Sorry I’ve been quiet for the last few days, I have been working on future ideas for the blog. As I said in the previous blog, I would get round to doing a FreePrints review, so I decided to do it now. Hope you enjoy x
Types Of Photos
Each month you will automatically get 45 free 6x4 photos. If you ordered 45 of those photos you would only have to pay the postage which ranges from £1-£2 depending on where you live and which postage option you choose. If you order more than 45 of the free photos, you have to pay £0.09 for every picture more than the 45 free limit. Say if you got 50 6x4 photos, you would have to pay £0.45 and the postage. On the app, you can choose different sizes of your photo, only the 45 6x4 photos you get are free. 5x5 photos are £0.19, 7x5 photos are £0.17, 8x6 photos are £0.39 etc. The bigger the photos, the more they tend to cost. When you get to the checkout, you will also have the option of choosing glossy or matte photos. Both options are free and won’t affect your total sum.
Quality
The quality of these photos are actually much better than you probably expect. If you have ever printed Boots photos before, you will know what I mean when I say, the quality of these photos are the same or even better than the Boots ones. Much cheaper too!
Delivery
When you go to the checkout, depending on which postal option you choose, the delivery will take between 3-5 days. For me, the delivery only took 4 days, which was actually faster than they said it would arrive. You will be able to track whatever is happening to your photos when you press ‘My Orders’. It will tell you when your photos are printing, when they have been dispatched, and when they have been delivered. When they arrive at your house, they will come in a flat box. Inside the box will be a photo folder and in that folder there will (possibly) be a smaller folder containing your pictures. As you can tell, they are well protected to keep them to their best possible standard.
My opinion
If you want to order any photos for your room or anything like that, I would 100% recommend FreePrints. I have in total, ordered 71 photos and I am happy with every single one. I have yet to order some of the matte photos but I think I’ll prefer the gloss ones.
Anyway I hope you didn’t find this too long and I hope it was interesting to read. Thank you all for reading and I will talk to you soon!
Lily x
